Guildhawk is proud to celebrate something increasingly rare, and deeply valuable. This month marks 20 years since our Head of Strategic Accounts, Rita Hinterleithner, joined the company. A milestone that reflects not only her dedication, but the enduring relationships that define Guildhawk’s culture.

For clients who value trust, continuity, and excellence, Rita’s journey is proof that in an age of spectacular technological change, long-term partnerships are not only possible, they’re the secret to sustainable success.

"I’ve seen Guildhawk evolve beyond recognition," says Rita.

"We went from managing interpreters at small local engagements to huge events like President Gorbachev’s Gorby at 80 at the Royal Albert Hall, and attending Buckingham Palace when Queen Elizabeth honoured us with the Queen’s Award for International Trade.”

Speaking of the company's achievements in those 20 years, she adds,

“We’ve hit some amazing milestones. We were the first in our sector to get ISO:27001 certified, we launched avatars, and even brought on the world’s first emoji translator. We also landed contracts with some big names, like the United Nations, Kraft Heinz, and Mitsubishi. These wins were all about teamwork, and what’s always brought us together is our shared love of language and our drive to deliver great results"

Guildhawk’s transformation over the past two decades has been extraordinary. Today, the company blends cutting-edge AI development with human brilliance, thanks to its in-house tech team and innovations like GAI Translate, winner of the Market Disruptor Award. Yet, at its core, Guildhawk remains a company built on relationships, with clients, linguists, and team members like Rita.

Rita and her multilingual avatar were the first to champion this new service in 2021

"Rita is the embodiment of our values," says Jurga Zilinskiene MBE, Guildhawk’s CEO and Founder.

"She’s shown that you can embrace big changes and still stay true to what matters. Clients trust her because she listens, she cares, and she delivers for them."

That trust is echoed by long-standing clients like Phillip Journeaux, Partner at DePinna Notaries that is celebrating its 250th anniversary this year:

"Working with Rita and her teams for the past 10 years is the epitome of partnership. Her attention to detail and warmth makes every project run beautifully. Guildhawk’s commitment to quality and ethics is clear in everything she does."

Outside of work, Rita is a talented photographer and artist, with her work published online. She’s a proud mum and spends many weekends cheering her sons on at football and athletics.

Her commitment is mirrored in Guildhawk’s global network of linguists, many of whom have worked with the company for nearly two decades. It’s a reminder that while technology continues to evolve, human connection and trust remain timeless.

For clients seeking more than just a language service, and wanting to work with devoted people like Rita, Guildhawk offers a rare model: a company that invests in innovation, but never forgets the value of loyalty, ethics, and relationships.
