Senior Programme/Customer Success Manager

 

Location: London or Sheffield (Hybrid Remote First)

About the Role: Guildhawk is seeking to appoint a senior-level team member to join our client delivery and leadership function. This role sits at the forefront of both client engagement and project delivery, combining strategic account responsibility with oversight of complex, multi-stage projects.

The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening client relationships, leading high-value accounts, and driving excellence in delivery across a diverse range of language, multimedia, and technology-enabled solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals from the language services sector who are passionate about delivering outstanding client service, leading complex projects, and driving innovation in a tech-powered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

    • End-to-end management of multi-lingual, multi-stage projects, including creative, digital, and multimedia solutions
    • Act as a primary client contact for key accounts, leading meetings, reviews, and solution scoping
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
    • Oversee project delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client expectations are met
    • Lead on onboarding, training, and mentoring of team members
    • Drive process improvements, change management, and adoption of new tools/technologies
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Tech, Compliance, Sales) to deliver integrated solutions
    • Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, and ensure margin targets are met
    • Support innovation and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management within the language services sector
    • Proven experience in client-facing roles, account management, or customer success
    • Experience managing large, complex, multi-stage projects
    • Strong commercial awareness and operational skills
    • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
    • Experience leading teams, mentoring, or acting as escalation point
    • Proficient with CAT tools (ideally memoQ) and technology-led workflows
    • Experience with AI/automation in project delivery is an advantage
    • Additional language skills desirable
