Jurga Zilinskiene is the Founder and CEO of Guildhawk.
Jurga founded the business in 2001 while still at university and using her own savings. Since then, her leadership has seen the company grow and spread across 4 continents. A self-taught coder, Jurga has personally led the development of many of Guildhawk’s technological solutions and offerings herself.
Early in her career, Jurga was awarded the Shell LiveWIRE award for young entrepreneurs. The judging panel clearly saw Jurga’s potential at the time, as her continued business success saw her invited back in 2015 to judge that year’s competition.
Jurga has attended Harvard Business School and the University of London. In 2019, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth honoured Jurga with membership of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) for International Trade.
Our Chairman, Ian Miller MBE, splits his time between the UK and USA. A Scottish Chartered Accountant by profession, his expertise is in management consultancy and senior leadership at global Information Technology companies.
He has held executive roles at various multi-billion dollar corporations including Hewlett-Packard, Electronic Data Systems, and NTT Data. He has led businesses across Europe, the United States and Asia Pacific and driven exceptional performance and growth. Ian has particular expertise in M&A strategy, execution and integration.
A Commander with the police reserve and member of the Honourable Artillery Company, he is one of the UK’s longest serving police volunteers and has built relationships between UK police and police forces in the USA and Europe. In 2008, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth honoured Ian with membership of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) for Service to Policing.
Arun Chauhan is our External Legal Counsel and Board Member, and also provides specialist advice to our clients on promoting ethical standards, regulatory compliance and litigation.
A practising solicitor, Arun is one of very few to be awarded an International Compliance Association expert level post graduate qualification (Prof. PGDip(FCC)) in financial crime compliance. A former head of the commercial fraud team of a top 20 UK law firm he is the founder and a director of Tenet Compliance & Litigation, a boutique practice dealing with financial crime compliance and investigations.
He is a Trustee Director of the Fraud Advisory Panel charity, the voice of the counter-fraud community and frequently appears as a guest expert on BBC Television.
David Clarke is a Director and Head of Integrity & Multilingual Due Diligence services in the consultancy arm of Guildhawk in the City of London and Sheffield, and provides multilingual research, advisory and language services to corporate clients across the globe.
He leads a multi-disciplinary team of security specialists and works with international clients to protect their brands and data and avoid falling victim to crime. To mitigate the risks that are often unseen in multilingual supply chains, he pioneered AMLiss™, a 3-tier regulatory compliance solution to identify red flags in multilingual contracts and other written and verbal business communications.
He is Chairman of the Fraud Advisory Panel, the voice of the counter-fraud community in the UK, as well as being a regular commentator on the BBC.
Rita is our Head of Client Business Transformation and leader of our account management teams. Based at our head office in the City of London, her own diverse client base includes global multinationals in the energy, heavy engineering, e-learning and retail industries that have exacting requirements for complex technical content.
As part of her leadership position, Rita is an executive coach, mentoring young people through our internal talent management programme.
Rita is fluent in English and Lithuanian and studied marketing, holding a BA from London Metropolitan University.
Claire Brown is Guildhawk’s Head of Operations. Her passion for information management and detail orientation ensures a solution-focused approach to business.
Claire’s background in psychology (Postgraduate Diploma from The Open University) and project management (APMP Certified) helps our team to continually develop and ensures that our processes and general business practices are consistently excellent. She is responsible for the implementation and management of Guildhawk’s ISO 9001 quality and ISO 27001 information security certifications. Claire holds degrees from the University of Leicester and The Open University.
As our Head of Client Services, Kasia is experienced in customising processes and project workflows to fit specific client requirements, and ensuring the ongoing quality and consistency of Guildhawk’s service as experienced by our clients.
Before Guildhawk, her background was in customer care and management of multilingual teams for clients such as John Lewis, Mothercare, and Ralph Lauren – where she was announced Manager of the Year.
Kasia holds a Master’s degree in Italian Language and Culture from The University of Glasgow and has also studied at Bologna University.
Estefanía is one of the most experienced members of the Guildhawk team. Her background in the industry enables her to take an advisory, consultative approach with both our clients and our linguists. She is a mentor and advisor to the other Project Managers and promotes a positive working environment at all times.
As well as heading project management and resourcing, Estefanía also oversees complex life sciences projects.
Estefanía holds a BA in Language Interpretation and Translation from University Pablo de Olavide (Sevilla, Spain) and is APM certified.
A graduate of our internal academy, Giorgia undertook all aspects of project management at Guildhawk before settling into her current role as Head of Projects. In this role she oversees Guildhawk’s current technical offering while always seeking out new methods or softwares to deliver the best service possible to our clients.
Giorgia is an APMP-qualified Project Manager and holds two translation degrees: a BA and an MA from the University of Turin, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Specialised Translation from London Metropolitan University.
Rachel joined Guildhawk in 2017 to head the new Sheffield office. She has vast experience in the language industry from both project and account management perspectives.
Comfortable with the complexities of any industry, Rachel focuses on the travel, hospitality and leisure industries.
Ksenija is our Head of Quality Standards, monitoring business performance and KPI reporting. Working with the management team, her focus is on strategy implementation and responsibility for legal and corporate compliance, including change and incident management, internal and external audits, and monitoring attainment of company objectives.
Ksenija holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from University College London, and a Master’s degree in Law from Vilnius University, Lithuania.
