Helping construction service company grow in APAC and Latin America
The client and the project are anonymised throughout.
Sector: Construction services, infrastructure
Language: Simplified Chinese; Latin American Spanish
Service: AI Video Dubbing, GAI Translate, AI Verification, Human Translation & Localisation, Transcreation
The Challenge
A UK-headquartered professional training body for the construction sector was expanding two new markets at once. In APAC, it needed web, email and social launch copies in Simplified Chinese in a commercial register; In Latin America, it created an animated series on collaborative training, where an in-house Spanish recording attempt had produced audio too poor to publish. Both had to turn round in days, subject to in-country reviewing processes.
The Solution
Guildhawk ran both workstreams through one account team, pairing secure AI production with named human verification at each stage.
- Launch copy was produced with GAI Translate and post-edited by a vetted in-market Simplified Chinese linguist, briefed on the sales register the client wanted for the email and social assets and instructed to hold product and document titles consistent with the source.
- The raw AI draft and the post-edited version were retained as separate files, so the client can see what the human linguist changed, and an in-house quality check preceded delivery in bilingual side-by-side format for the client's in-country reviewer.
- For the animated series, Guildhawk supplied male and female Latin American Spanish voice samples for the client to choose from, matched to the AI voice already used on the English originals so the brand voice stayed consistent across markets.
- Final audio was recorded to the approved Spanish scripts and timed against the existing animations, with pauses set to the on-screen sequence and one WAV track delivered per episode for the client's video team to drop straight in.
- An independent in-market Spanish linguist checked every track against the approved scripts and returned a completed evaluation statement, with all files moving through Guildhawk's secure ISO 27001 environment and terminology assets retained for future editions.
The Results
- Around 1,700 words of web, email and social launch copy were delivered in Simplified Chinese on the quoted three working day date, in time for the client's in-country reviewer to sign off before a planned absence.
- All five Spanish audio tracks were delivered inside the quoted one working day turnaround once the voice sample was approved.
- The verified AI voiceover was quoted alongside conventional studio recording and came in at a small fraction of its cost, so the client could re-voice the full five-part series.
- Unusable phone-recorded audio was replaced with broadcast-usable tracks that carry a documented in-market human check, giving the client an audit trail for its use of AI voice.
- Terminology, translation memory and the retained draft and post-edited files supported a later client-requested amendment round, which Guildhawk returned as tracked changes against the delivered copy.
Why this matters for construction and infrastructure organisations entering new markets
When marketing copy, legal contracts, and training materials use inconsistent terminology, brand credibility crumbles and legal risk spikes. Fragmented supply chains naturally cause this drift, threatening hard market-entry deadlines like government announcements or conference launches.
Centralising text, audio, and video under a single accountable partner solves this by enforcing strict linguistic consistency across every asset:
- Unified terminology: Retained language assets and proprietary AI ensure the marketing promise perfectly matches the binding contract language.
- Guaranteed deadlines: High-speed AI handling volume paired with expert human verification delivers campaign-ready assets on time, without sacrificing precision.
- Auditability & security: Clients retain complete ownership of compliance records showing exactly who verified each word.
By eliminating vendor silos, sector bodies can launch rapidly in new markets while standing confidently behind every asset they publish.
