A major trade-only distributor of hand tools, Olympia Tools are probably best known for their Roughneck and Roughneck Gorilla brands.
They have trusted Guildhawk with their translation requirements since the beginning of 2020.
At the start of that year, Olympia Tools made the major decision to perform a rebrand on their successful Roughneck range. The aim was to give Roughneck a full facelift – to ensure all packaging was multilingual, with clear graphics to highlight key features; and to make packaging materials eco-friendly, replacing as many single-use plastics as possible with recyclable materials, e.g. switching old blister-style packaging to cardboard.
Our Expertise
As the rebrand process began, Olympia Tools’ Marketing and Branding teams approached Guildhawk. They needed a language partner that was fast, reliable, and could produce the high-quality translations necessary for their specialist product packaging. Their experience with previous language suppliers had not met their expectations, and they were especially keen to work more flexibly with their new partner.
We put together a dedicated team of specialist linguists, with expertise in the sector, and the ability to turn around short, technical pieces of text rapidly. This dedicated team performed some sample work for the client, to ensure they were happy with their approach, and have been working steadily and successfully on Olympia Tool’s packaging ever since.
In this time, we have worked together on numerous packaging projects. We have also been introduced to one of Olympia Tools’ partner companies, with whom we are now collaborating on similar work.
