The Challenge

A global industry association for the mining and metals sector runs an intensive two-day workshop that helps member companies operationalise human rights due diligence across their operations and supply chains. To bring the programme to Spanish-speaking member teams in Latin America, it needed the full training suite localised: two master slide decks totalling close to 170 slides, a participant guide and detailed agenda, exercise handouts and role-play personas. The material combines specialist human rights and due-diligence terminology with facilitation copy that has to sound natural in the room, for audiences ranging from site teams to corporate functions.

The Solution

Guildhawk localised the complete learning experience as one project:

• Assigned professional translators working into Latin American Spanish with experience of human rights, sustainability and extractive-sector content.
• Kept terminology aligned with the international human rights and due-diligence frameworks the training is built on, so the Spanish materials carry the same rigour as the English originals.
